From the 16oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74---Thanks for this one Dude!
This nice little brew pours a deep black with a nice head of light brown
foam that settles to a thick ring, tin layer, and sports subtle lacing. Nose
of faint cherry, touches of bakers cocoa, and definite char. Flavors
follow with light exception with dark cocoa, faint coffee, tart cherry,
light caramel malts, and a goodly amount of char. Nice mouth feel;
medium full body, light soft carbonation, and a bitter malt/char/tart
cherry finish that is lightly dry.
Overall, a decent little brew I am glad to have tried!
Cheers

16 ounce can, no canning date that I was able to find on it. Purchased at the brewery earlier today. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stayed around for a little while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, cherry, bittersweet chocolate and coffee. The cherry was light in the aroma at first, but got stronger as the beer warmed up. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, there's sweet and tart cherry, roasted malt, coffee, nutty and bittersweet chocolate flavors. Flavors are well balanced, no one flavor seems to dominate the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy to drink and a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a decent enough cherry stout, worth a try.

I'm pleasantly surprised I liked this. Head dissipated quickly, and smell has a strong fruity note (cherries clearly) but did not present an overpowering taste. Fairly mild overall.
