32 ounce crowler, filled on 4/22/2020, purchased at the brewery last weekend. Served in a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy orange/amber color with about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both pretty good. The brew smells like bready and caramel malt, pineapple and some chile peppers. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's a nice spicy pepper kick from the habaneros. More habanero than pineapple to me. It's not overpoweringly spicy, but there's more than enough heat for you to know that the peppers are there! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and a bit creamy with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one, I'd also say it's more chile beer than IPA just because the habanero stands out in this brew. If you're into spicy pepper beers then give this one a try!
