draft pour at the brewery served in a nonic pint glass. very much has the look of a helles lager. not a lot of carbonation bubbles floating up to the surface. it’s got a bit of a malty aroma to it that i don’t typically associate with the style. decent bready malts on the tongue but it’s not crisp and bubbly enough for the style to me. easy enough drinking but doesn’t really fit the kölsch category to my tastebuds.
