draft pour into a snifter. dark brown to almost black with see-through edges. dry baker’s chocolate and bourbon on the nose with some underlying oak. more bitter chocolate, bourbon and oak on the taste. i will say the that the chocolate addition here does cover up some of the over-the-top barrel of the original but it’s such an overt chocolate bomb that there’s not much to get past it. medium mouthfeel. drying chocolate and oak on the finish. pretty good.
