Bearded Owl Brewing

Visited this place on St. Patty's Day of 2018. Had a great selection. Cool place right downtown Peoria right by the tracks and river. The beers were good and a place I would stop by when going home on I-74.

Mid sized spot, down by the river in Peoria, lots of bricks inside and out, pleasant outdoor area to enjoy in good weather. Kind of dark inside, but with large windows looking out onto the street.

They had a game on the TV, free popcorn, and chill music...

Plenty of their own quality brews available on tap..friendly young lady working the bar. Worthy spot to visit and enjoy a few tasty brews in downtown Peoria. About a 3 min walk from the also high quality Thyme restaurant and boutique beer bar.

 

i really like this place. it’s fairly small and quaint with a small bar and a small outdoor patio area when the weather allows. the staff is typically friendly and welcoming. there’s usually a fairly good selection of beers on draft from sour ales, IPAs, lagers, blonde ales and stouts and / or brown ales. you can get a flight if you can’t decide on one beer. and pretty much everything on draft can be made to-go in a 32oz crowler. every once in a while they can or bottle to-go offerings as well. i really enjoy their lagers and hefeweizen/dunkelweizen.

 

Good location with lots of fun options for food, games, and the riverfront.

Small and welcoming taproom with seats for 60 in a classic tin-ceiling room full of original art and bright tanks.

Experimental and inventive brewing that often works, and they have food.

Service is invested, experienced, and knowledgable.
