Poured 16oz can into Duvel tulip. Dark black coffee with a 2.5 finger khaki colored head. Fades into a thick collar and leaves behind spots and thin webs of lacing. A wonderful aroma of steeping Italian espresso with fresh cut coconut. Dark chocolates mingle with the roasted malts. Flavors of the roasted malts and coffee, espresso. After it settles the sweet coconut drenched in dark chocolate (mounds bar!) comes in to entice the palate. Smooth and creamy with a rich feel and excellent carbonation. This is a winner with all the coffee, coconut, and creamy dark chocolate without being overly sweet. Reminds me of Last Snow from Funky Buddha that I had years ago.

16oz can, snifter glass. Pours a dark black body, one finger mocha head, good retention, bits of lacing. Smell is smooth coconut and vanilla, milk chocolate and lactose, light roasty coffee, a bit of marshmallow even. Nice nose, sweet with good coconut sweetness. Flavour follows, creamy coconut and milk chocolate, slight bitter coffee. Vanilla. Lactose. Nice sweet pastry beer, good coconut flavours. Medium in body, creamy and good carbonation, easy and smooth drinking. Nice pastry milk stout that hits all the right notes.

Got this in a trade from this site. Really good. Nice head but aromas were over subtle. Really tasty beer though. Very sweet. Very smooth. Coconut taste is prominent for me and it’s ideally balanced.

out of a can pretty fresh.
dark brown with whitish head.
Poured into a snifter.
Coffee is predominant on the nose but coconut is there.
Taste follows. Not super thick but as I drink it gets filling. Not as dynamic as I thought it might be. Will revisit again for sure.
