Canned 4/26/19; drank 5/23/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big white head; a thick curtain of frothy lace.
Guava, orange citrus, table sugar & mild cream notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Tangy guava & cream flavors up front; dry grass & mild orange citrus notes on the finish.
A bit tangy & dry; decent enough, but not one I'll track down again.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on December 23, 2018. Milkshake IPA brewed with lactose and pink guava. Nice balance of tart fruit and sweet lactose.

Poured 16oz can into a snifter. Hazy golden color with a nice 2 finger white head that fades slowly and leaves a good amount of lacing on my glass. Aromas of sweet grapefruit mingle with sweet guava and pineapple, with a touch of light caramel malt to round it out. The flavor builds on these fruity notes showcasing the citrus and lightly sweet malts. The guava is rather muted, but there is a balance of sweet and bitter. The body is light-medium, with a more than sufficient carbonation and juicy finish. Bother enjoyable NEIPA from HBC.

Poured 16oz can into 12 oz hacienda stemless wine still glass.
Big white head dissolved and leaves no lacing. Hazy yellow with light shining thru at edges.
Smell is something like a burnt yogurt sugar with guava. Definitely get the lactose in there
Tastes is sweet cooked sugars with a tart finish. But nothing overpowering.
Kind of tastes like a guava yogurt shake. Pretty good but 1 would be enough.
Would be good in the summer.
Good beer

16oz can, snifter glass. Cloudy golden yellow body, one finger frothy white head, plenty of lacing, fair retention. Smell is lactose, sweet caramel, a bit of grainy biscuit, citrus zest and pine. Flavour follows; lactose buttressed by grapefruit and citrus zest, light herbal, resinous finish; the background is a mild caramel and sugary sweetness. Fairly sweet overall, but not offensively so. The guava is not super distinct, but provides a nice sweet complement on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, crisp, slightly burning sensation on the finish, probably from the hops.
