Bright saturated gold, thin layer of foam without lacing. Pineapple aroma, dried and not too sweet, oak and mild acidity. Taste is more acidic with some acetic traces of pineapple vinegar, oaky background, fruity and acidic. Not getting the cinnamon or other spices, but the pineapple flavor is nice and tropical. Light bodied with supple carbonation. Overall, as a pineapple sour ale it delivers, though the acetic acid obliterates any subtlety. Paired well with homemade tamales.
