Pours black under a coarse head that settles to a rough cap. Curtainy lace to start. Nose is gently malty, a little sweet, dark chocolate. Just a little bite from carbonation, chocolate and malt to taste. Ashiness lingers on the tongue. Pretty easy going beer, not big up in your face. Got the gentle rye twist going just to make it a bit different.
