Bottle shared at August THT. Hazy lemon yellow with a white head. Bananas, yeast, grains. Medium body, low carbonation and a sweet finish.

Consumed vom Fass at Weißbierhaus in the center of downtown Straubing, Germany during my Bavarian holidy of September 2006.
Very impressive on presentation. The head sat firmly atop this Bier, thick, pillowy, and luscious. Moderate carbonation. The brew itself was darker than most - almost an orange. But plenty of yeast in suspension. Aromas of fruit, including bananas, yeast, and fresh cut grains fill the sinuses. The flavor is smooth, slightly crisp, and very tasty. A nice balance between the banana, spiciness, wheaty goodness and yeast attributes. This paired very well with ein par Weißwurst und Brezln... One of my favorite Biers on this trip if, for no other reason, than my love for Straubing as a whole.
Zum wohl!
