440ml can.
L: Dark brown, almost black, with a khaki head that reduces quickly to a ring.
S: Chocolate and black cherry… but light.
T: Autumn fruits with dark chocolate arriving in the finish. Dry, not bitter. Some sweetness emerges about 3/4 way through.
F: Medium body, smooth mouthfeel and some foaming carbonation.
O: Despite being poured at cellar temperature (not refrigerated) this stout starts really disappointing but improves somewhat by the end. For whatever reason, it took a long time for anything interesting to emerge. Even at the end, still underwhelmed.
