Pours black with three fingers of khaki foam. Aroma is toasty, crackery, and roasty malts. It does smell quite dry. Flavor profile leads off with roasty malts, with thick toasty and crackery malts behind. The dry flavor profile, driven by malts, is given a kiss of grassy and mild herbal hops for some shape to an otherwise dry desert at midnight of a sipper. Mouth feel is medium-thin in thickness with moderate crispness to the texture. Overall, dry and dark.
