Cloudy with a darker gold/lighter amber color. Small, but tight and lasting head. There are a few minor spots on the glass as I consume the beer.
The smell is of mango and papaya. There's also a light lemon pepper and a touch of earthiness. Nice blend.
First note is of the much higher than anticipated carbonation level. The body is decent but it's still a rather spritzy beer. The taste is less like the tropical fruit smell and more like a traditional pale ale. The bitterness comes early and quickly creating a black pepper finish and a very long (bitter) aftertaste.

A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is slightly cloudy bright golden with a 1-finger white head on top.
S: Good nose of tropical fruit (pineapple), citrus (grapefruit pith and peel, lemon, and lime zest) and piney dankness. The nose really covers all the hop bases.
T: First impression: surprisingly sweeter than expected at the front of the palate. Malt foundation of crackery malt. But after a sip or two and the mouth is coated, the hoppy bitterness kicks in. Like the nose, there's a pineapple, grapefruit and grapefruit peel, lemon, and a grassy or piney bitterness. Tartness reminds me of some sort of candy, but I can't quite put my finger on it. . . Alcohol is definitely noted, both on the palate as a drying warmth at the finish, and as warmth in the belly.
M: Medium-to-full in body, a little oily in feel.
O: Interesting. The flavor profile here is uniquely bitter and dank and tart, and not what I expected. . . but I'm enjoying it. Though I'm not disappointed that I only bought one can rather than a full 4-pack, as I don't think I'd want to come back to this beer regularly. . . .

Galaxy+mosaic hops brewed with Catskill water should be a stunning combination. Golden pineapple coloration and honeycomb like lacing follows an inch of snow white head. Aroma booms of citric lime and white peach. Hints of resin with a touch of catty dankness blends in well, and follows in flavor. Strong herbal notes, passionfruit, bitter melon, unsweetened black raspberry, and fresh pine. Quite a grassy finish with a lingering bitterness. Intensity of citrus, grass, pine is surprising as it's more sweetart than anything ripe and tropical. Chalky but crisp feel, mild booziness that hides the hop profile for me.
