A: Golden copper to light auburn...brilliant clarity. I poured aggressively to test retention: eggshell cream, dissolving quickly.
S: Day old pumpernickel, husky. Low-moderate caramel leading to distinct hints of banana esters. More of a dunkelweiss vibe here.
M: Med bodied, creamy but not lush...almost a light feel. A bit flat maybe.
T: Toast with notes of apple butter and pear flavored gum. Apple orchard, overgrown hay and light spice. It's a decent tasting German lager, but not my ideal märzen.
