Copenhagen 21/3 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. From Jopen Giftbox. Usual Jopen design in Blue with an old Church and the motto “Crafting Divine Beer”.
Pours hazy, pale yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is citric sour and lightly spicy. Citrus, lemon with herbal notes of Black pepper and coriander. The spices dominate.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery and almost flat texture.
Flavor is sweetish and lemonadeish. Followed by a moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a short while.
Does what a Wit bier is supposed to do in a generic way. Not bad but not very interesting either.

Best by 12/18/17.
Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, dried orange peel, coriander, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with dried orange peel, coriander, and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.
Serving type: bottle.
