Collaboration with Odell Brewing Co.
This Collab with Odell Brewing from Fort Collins (USA) is a twisted blonde brewed with almond and cocoa. We kept the malt bill back to let the nuts and cocoa be in the lead. The cocoa (from De Zaan in Wormer) is not roasted to enhance the fruity aspects of the cocoa. All together the end result is a beer that is rich and creamy, with nutty and fruity flavors.

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, some cocoa. Taste is malts, light almonds and cocoa, just a bit unusual. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.

Pours a one-finger white, thick head that vanishes leaving no lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light bodied and medium carbonation. Malty/hop nose, and flavor has hints of chocolate, slightly sweet, bready. Bottled 8/31/2016 $3.79 for 330ml bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

11.2 ounce bottle, bottled on 31 AUG 2016. Better late than never, I guess. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy dark gold color with about an inch white head that didn't stick around for too long. Not much lacing, either. The brew smells like bready/grainy malt, nuts, and a general dried fruity aroma. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like bready/grainy malt, nuts/almonds, dried fruit, and some stone fruit and cocoa. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a little coating and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. Worth a try but I wish I would have been able to find this when it was fresher. $4.49 a bottle.

Clear dark yellow color, with a lasting frothy white head.
Taste of almonds especially in the aftertaste.
Well carbonated. Perfect for a sunny afternoon.

Blonde color with a peachy glow. Very small bubbly head.
Very faint aroma of malts, some suggestions of almond.
Golden ale malt base, faint almond paste. Slight astringency on the finish. You taste all 7% of this.
Feel is heavily carbonated, with slight parch on the finish.
Overall, not nutty at all. Did a different beer get bottled here??
