BBE Aug 09. White head and golden beer with haze. Nose is some koreander, sweet gale, bit of maltarome and alcohol. Clean but could have some more arome. Same is for taste that is clean, shows lots of alcohol, bit of koreander and mediumlow bitterness and medium maltbody. Alcoholic mouthfeel with low carbonisation. Clean overall and fresh brew thats very easy drinkable for a tripel.

This beer is brewed for the 350th anniversary of the Haerlemse Courant.
Appearance was murky yellow with a creamy head and lots of carbonation.
Smell was slightly alcoholic with light caramalt whiffs. These remind me of peaches and is kind of sweet. The beer is sort of witbier-like, I don't know if this is only the yeast or actual wheat in here.
Taste is alcoholic and grainy with some witbier-like characteristics: yeasty, grainy wheat, slightly sharp and some minor acidity. The light caramalts give the beer a sweet peachy taste. Body is thin and in style. The sharpness must be the result of the yeast. Medium bitterness.
This beer reminds me of some of the Unibroue beers, that also have these yeast-products in their beers.
