This beer is brewed for de Stripweek (Comics week). Every year Jopen brews a beer selected by comic artists. This is the 2006 edition.
A bright, orange yellow beer with a big creamy head, which is created by a crazy carbonation.
Smell is malty and fruity, like peaches and honey and with a pretty clean smelling yeast profile.
Taste is malty with fruity notes of peaches and some honey. Bitterness is nicely supporting the maltiness. The carbonation is sizzling on the tongue. Body is medium and the beer is a little sticky, yet not sweet. There is not a lot of outspoken taste to this, mainly malt and a moderate bitterness. Drinkability is very good, the 7% alcohol is hardly noticed.
