Dark red color, with a lot of floating chunkies. Scarce beige foam.
A full and intense smell, with candy sugar, ripe fruit, and marzipan. Quite boring.
A full taste, too, malty, sugary, heavy.
A heavy mouthfeel, sugary, not too drinkable, n the aftertaste too. Definitely, too sugary.
Low drinkability, nothing to remember.

Tasted at WBF-08 in Gouda.
Appearance was dark brown with an initial big head that disappears in minutes into a thin off-white head.
Smell is caramel with a mild roast and a mild maltbitterness. There is a spicy smell, I suspect coming from cloves.
Taste is nicely balanced, a sweet maltiness with on top dark roasted malts. The taste is a little more heavy on the maltbitterness. The spices appear to be coriander, clove and liquorice. A very tiny tartness that contributes to the drinkability and complexity. Good beer!

A red copper beer with a nice head lasting during the drink.
Very complexed noise: of course malts and fruits, but surprisingly: sourness, maybe caused by the touch of blackcurrant, there is some coriander and I recognize wine pallets, it gives the beer an old character.
A citrus taste, bitter sweet with spicy hints makes a good marriage with the smell.
For a 10% ABV you'll expect a heavy body, but it is medium, a little alcoholwarm with a short spicy aftertaste.
What a surprise: Jopen did it again, a very complexed beer. Very enjoyable, but be aware of the high ABV.
