Opened on X-mas eve with my parents. First, the style of this beer is a barley wine, wouldn't say it is American or English.
Look: the beer pours a dark amber-brown color, with a small white-yellow head
Smell: Malts, caramel, fruit, light licorice and spicy
Taste: Sweet malts, caramel and dark fruits, perfectly balanced with licorice and spicy bitter hops. Aftertaste is dry and slightly bitter
Mouthfeel: Medium-high carbonation, medium body
Overall: What a great beer. Perfectly balanced, a master piece!
