On draft at Cafe Gollem, Amsterdam.
Oxblood, with clingy tan head.
Mad fresh oranges on the nose.
Brown bread, carob, brownie and some orange rind straight into oily, resiny, citrus peel hops.
Orange drizzle cake linger and slight citrus zest linger.
Medium leaning towards light, enough cling, round, oily.
Hello! This is how IBA should be done, malts but not over the top. Enough hops, but not abusive. With no noticeable black roast (brown malt, brown bar - heh!) this ends up a drinkable orange brownie of a beer.
According to the barman, a mistake by the brewer adding too much malt, but a beautiful one.
Had 4 over 2 nights, if that tells you.
