Copenhagen 23/6 2025. 50 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Yellow can in Reepbana's usual design with a drawing of a blonde girl in a sexy maritime outfit.
Pours clear - almost opaque - golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a paper thin layer for foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of wheat malt mi gliding with a citric scent. Sweet banana and white sugar. Lemonade. Orange and citrus.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart sourness. Aftertaste is sourish with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is tart and a bit dry.
Rather fresh and not too sweet Hefeweizen.

Pours a nice amber and orange color with two finger head that recedes by half after a minute. Smell promises a good beer, with heavy bananas. Tastes a bit weaker than I’d expected, but not bad. Mouthfeel is unfortunately thin for the style. No aftertaste. Overall not a bad hefe but for the price there are better, including Oettinger’s original Hefeweizen.

0.5l can.
Pours excellent hazy copper/amber beer with nice creamy off-white head, good retention.
Typical, but relatively weak weizen smell and taste.
Medium body, soft carbonation.
