Mega cheap and seems to be made for Portuguese owned Supermarket Biedronka. Not expecting much.
No hops, just hops extract...I think I can already predict the flavour before opening it ; ) Seems to be brewed in Germany.
Pretty good head level, but not much in the way of bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass to the top. Aroma is kind of mildly hoppy chloriney foam.
Taste is pretty much what I predicted. Inoffensive, very light...not too sweet. Hops extract is noticeable. Actually the mouth feel is not too bad, the hoppy efferfescence kind of swirls around your tongue. Malt is light but tastes pretty good and is very well balanced with the hops extract. This is very light, but I kind of like it...as a mega budget, refreshing pilsner. It tastes similar to many other mega budget pilsners, but is more crisp and well balanced. Hops extract is definitely German style.
Overall I would say this is really impressive, in terms of the quality in relation to the price, and because of the price, it gets a higher overall rating.
