brewery notes: Keep warm in the winter months with our traditional Doppelbock. Rotundly malty with a clean fermentation profile. It’s big. Really big.
Malts: Pils, Dark Munich Hops: NuggetMicrobes: House Lager Yeast
Original Gravity: 19° Plato ABV: 8.3% Color: 19 SRM
Look: dark amber, slight brown. some what transparent when held up to light. Nice fine tall head that last a while leaving plenty of lacing.
Smell? A little bread micro amount of roast, smells slightly sweet.
Taste: very smooth, slightly sweet, a little bread, some caramel. Clean I don't notice any off flavors.
feel: seems thin
8.3 ABV?? don't taste it but can feel it when it hits ya, if it 8.3 its very well hidden
A light duty flavor and body wise beer, but is easy drinking. rather simple overall.
But still it's a decent beer.
