I brought a crowler of this beer home from a recent trip to Eau Claire, Wisconsin whilst there for my daughter's gymnastics meet. It poured a clear amber with thin off white ring head that did not leave any lace. The scent had sweet malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet caramel malt base and subtle peat presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Dagnabbit pours a brown color, with no head. Weak aroma, a bit sugary. Flavor was sugary, sweet, very bright. Body was flat. Overall, its very easy drinking scottish ale and very approachable.
