16 oz can at share, courtesy of Toby. Black pour, addequate head, beige. Vanilla up front in the aroma, bourbon following closely behind. Taste brings more vanilla, some chocolate and more whiskey barrel. Body seems a bit thin, but overall I really enjoyed this.

16 oz can from Rick

Deep thick oily pour with a creamy beige cap of 1 full finger, receding gradually to a thin ring.
The aroma on this barrel aged beer is spot-on. Very saturated and very wet. Tons of luscious caramel, deep dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla cake, brownie batter, wet bourbon barrel, more caramel, and finally a little nip of spicy vanilla chai.
Flavor brings heavy vanilla cake and coffee in equal amounts, followed by roasted malt bitterness, chocolate cake, very slight herbal bitterness, caramel candy, and a slight hint of spearmint.
Feel is creamy and oily/slick, a touch under full-bodied, could use a slight bit more thickness and stickiness; good alcohol burn but not enough to get in the way of the enjoyment of the beer; roasty finish with lingering alcohol sting.
Overall, another outstanding beer from Kiitos' barrel aging program. Would definitely drink again. Thanks Rick!

This one pours a very dark black color, with a decent creamy looking head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like sweet vanilla, barrel, dark chocolate, and a weird and perplexing amount of mint.
This has so much weird medicinal mint flavor, and it's not made with mint at all. There's some gummy and sweet vanilla, with a bit of bourbon. But the mint off-flavor just overpowers here. I don't understand - this has to be an off-can.
This is kind of thin, and kind of metallic, with a very low level of drinkability.
This is perplexingly bad. I don't like this really at all.

Poured a pitch black color with very little head. Appeared almost unnder carbonated with that lack of head. The aroma was a bit mild with soft notes of milk chocolate and vanilla. Couldn't really pick up any barrels. The taste was insanely heavy on the vanilla. It's very malty and sweet with layers of chocolate as an afterthought. I swear it taste like straight up vanilla bean ice cream. There isn't much for bourbon barrels in the taste, I wonder how long they even aged them. The mouthfeel is fullbodied and rich, it could maybe use a little more carbonation. Overall, it needs more time in barrels. Otherwise it taste more like plain imperial vanilla Stout, which I still enjoyed.
