For a day when you can't or don't want to leave the house. Sit down, relax, and let these deep flavours wash over your palate. Best enjoyed fireside.

500ml bottle conditioned.
L: Hazy despite a careful pour, hickory coloured with a thick and creamy head.
S: Fruity, malty, woodsmoke.
T: Red liquorice and molasses. Almost medicinal. Sweet with a dry, bitter finish.
F: Rich, smooth, unctuous and warming.
O: A rather wonderful, high ABV, rich and flavoursome, Scottish winter ale. If you’re caught in a nor’easter in Aberdeenshire, head to a pub with a real fire and ask for a pint of this.
This traditional Scottish style from this Scottish craft brewery is by far their best beer that I’ve tried to date.
