Black bodied & opaque with a 1cm, creamy head that's tan coloured & leaves some lacing on the glass. Dark malts & roasted notes on the nose with some chocolate & the odd sugar too, the beer is balanced with some smoked notes right at the end. The taste is dark too with an earthy malt flavour, some bitter roasted touches & chocolate too. It's medium bodied, softly carbonated & smooth with a subtle bitterness to finish.
