440ml Can from Lidl supermarket (£1.79):
A pale, clear amber with a 1cm, bubbly head that's creamy white & slowly fades to a thin surface lacing. The nose fresh with pine hops & some grapefruit with a caramel malt sweetness, citrus & the odd sugar. The taste is quite disappointing though, it seems watered down & weak with pine & citrus flavours that seem a little bland. There's a malt bitterness that seems cheap & more like an English ale than a West Coast IPA for me. The body is thin, a little watery, one-dimensional & basic; a poor beer I'm afraid.

Canned in a tallboy can and part of the lidl craft beer festival
Pours a very light brown body with good white
Aroma is toffee block for homemade popcorn
Flavour is like burned butter, not far off the malt but missing that bitter finish of a classic West Coast IPA
