440ml Can from Lidl Supermarket (£1.79):
Pale golden to amber with a foamy white head about 2cm tall that settles about a quarter of that soon after. It's a sour nose without too much funk or tart showing initially at least, I got some nice grapefruit & citrus notes with touches of pine too. It's a salty beer with some lime coming through towards the middle & maybe a tiny bit of strawberry but I doubt I'd have noticed if it wasn't mentioned on the can. Things step up a gear with the taste, it quite sharp & sour straight away with some citrus fruits & a fruity acidity plus the strawberry is actually noticeable here too. It's funky with some sweetness at the end & some of the promised passionfruit on top of quite a crisp, lively & strongly carbonated beer that was medium bodied & pleasant; it's just a shame the nose was so light.
