440ml can from Lidl (£1.79):
Opaque black with mahogany tinges towards the bottom & a quite thin, foamy head that's beige & covers the surface & holds well. It smelt like a pale lager as soon as I open the can but after pouring it was dark chocolate & rich malty notes are strongest on the nose, there's caramel too & a faint hint of coconut. Dark malts, chocolate & some coffee flavours feature with light caramel & lager like malts to finish. It's very smooth with a medium to full body with a pleasant bitterness at the end.
