L: Pours a nice caramel brown color, which creates a very slow-forming khaki head that is thin, and dissipates fairly quickly. Nice cloudy retention and some nice lacing on the sides. When held to the light, it is a nutty chocolate color.
S: Roasted malt. Coffee. Some faint chocolate.
T: Ooof. Not great. Some strange sweetness that I can't place. Maybe it's the grass. Regardless, I can't much abide by the flavor. It does not have the sort of thick, roasty bitterness that I am accustomed to with most stouts.
F: Medium-bodied. Too thin. Doesn't stick around.
O: This isn't it. Not robust - rather weak, flavors are meek, the body is lacking. I suppose it does qualify as a stout, but it lacks the traditional profile of what most consider to be stouts. You'll be happier looking elsewhere.
