SPBW has a modest sized tap room with about half dozen brews for tasting. Typical industrial park setting. Easy to get to, park, etc. LOTs of lovely barrels fill remainder of the main space.
I would normally give this a good @ 4.25 ish rating; but this visit was pretty extraordinary.
Got talking with owner/brewer Sean McVeigh...who proceeded to pull multiple raw tastings from a number of his barrels. And everyone was a home run. The black currant pre-salted Gose was amazing. Then he popped a special bottle from the back room...oak aged dark sour with coffee. Tremendous.
All together everyone at SP and the 4 of us doing tastings had just great time.
The beers are great and the people are better.
Must stop when in Ottawa area.

Interesting little brewery focused entirely on barrel aged sours - these beers range in quality from interesting to outstanding. Would come here again. No food.
