Abridged Beer Company

Visited on a Saturday dinner time with a good friend (Mr. Reed) on a roadtrip to Nashville to deliver some furniture. Place was crowded with a 40 min wait for a table. We ordered some "pounders" to go and headed on our way. Both outside and inside seating limited by COVID restrictions. Good service. Park in the church lot next door.

This place is no joke and I’m seriously impressed. The Hill’s Pils and fried chicken sandwich (and potato salad) are the perfect pairing and absolutely delicious! If I were a local I’d no doubt visit weekly to have this pairing, over and over, and never grow tired of it. Wow!

 

Walked in at last call, and the bartender let me order one rather than turning me away, which was awesome of him. Beer was solid, Berry Passionate Darla Gose, and I'll head back next time I'm in town for work to try the food.

 

Lively brewpub on west end of Knoxville, with outdoor patio area. Small bar, across from entrance, seats about 8. There are a number of tables and shelf-counters around the open area. 15 beers and one guest cider on tap. The one I had, Mike's Mild was very nice. Service was great, didn't try the food, although it looked good. Only draw back to the place is no parking of its own - parking is in church next door. Look forward to returning here when I got more time.
