Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. This beer draws a pretty cloudy/hazy medium brown color with a decent head that’s an inch thick when first drawn and served that settles eventually to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass. No lacing at all to speak of. Aromas of roasted malts and coffee along w/ a bit of chocolate. The taste is quite similar, with a big roasted malt presence with black coffee bitterness and a bit of chocolate that adds a nice sweetness. Has a crisp, just slightly prickly, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. The flavors all linger nicely on the aftertaste.

Copper in color. Aroma is permeated by coffee. Taste is similarily coffeelike. Mouthfeel is thin. Overall drinkable but would benefit from a higher viscosity.

Dark brown with clear copper brown edges and a thin tan blanket settling to a ring.
Taste is creme soda with a medium roast coffee undertone. It's a little woody, and overall drinkable, but also a little underwhelming, considering some other dark Akron-area beers using Bent Tree coffee have been pretty mind blowing.
The round medium-light body has a fine bubbly carbonation, finishing semi-dry.

5oz at the source. Mystified as to why this "brown ale" is light copper colored, but otherwise really good, a bit thin. Really nice aromatic coffee nose and well integrated into flavor without overpowering. More body would go a long way, but I appreciate the low ABV. This was the highlight of a just OK flight.
