Black with clear brown to red edges and a creamy persistent tan head slowly fading to a thick collar leaving long arms of lace on the glass.
The coffee-like appearance influences the fact that it tastes and feels like it too, as it has a very light body and an almost watery smooth carbonation. Flavors of cola and woody roast are delivered with a light nuttiness and a hint of vanilla, finishing semi-wet with some semi-bitter cocoa.
Thing is, this would be a decent Porter, but they're calling this a Stout. It's just not working for me with that in mind, but I don't hate it either.
