Canned on 9/28/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a glowing light auburn with some haze and orange hues; small khaki head that fades quickly leaving okay retention and little lacing. The aromas have lots of orange peel and orange zest. Some caramel. Hints of cinnamon and spices in the background. Malts are there. The flavors are bright and sweet. There's a nice amount of citrus, especially orange. More cinnamon and spices blending well with the citrus notes. Some ginger and nutmeg. Some cherry coming through. It's slightly tart at first, which I wasn't expecting. Hints of vanilla in the mix. Malts do their thing. Mild enjoyable warmth in the finish, but it's not hot or boozy at all. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It might feel a little thin or watery at times, but there's still some body to it. It really works with the flavor profile. It's slick, smooth and dangerously drinkable.
This is a nice brew. It's slightly unique and somewhat complex at times. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. It's fitting for the cold weather and holiday season. Well done. I really like it.
