Pours a watery gold color with adequate foam in the Orval chalice. Aroma is straw with a hint of lemon. Light body but still seems malty. Pleasant cereal taste, Cream of Wheat with a hint of banana.
At four percent alcohol this would be a a winner in the Utah Supermarket beer sweepstakes. It's so flavorful and rounded, it seems so rich for such a lightweight. This is a tasty improvement on the usual Helles lagers. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

This one pours a very light pale yellow color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like pale and bready malts, sharp grassy hops, and dough.
This is very nice. The malt character feels just about spot on- with doughy and bready malts, honey, and a bit of crusty bread. The hop character is expectedly low, with just a hint of grassy hop bitterness. It's very lightly flavored, but there are no flaws at all.
This is light bodied, crisp and very, very clean, with a great level of drinkability.
This is my first experience with this brewery- I had never heard of them before. I am happy to have tried them now.

Pours an incredibly light pale yellow. Cliched beer colour. Good one to two finger fluffy white head settles in pretty quickly and becomes nothing more than a faint set of bubbles. No lacing to speak of.
Nose is sweet bready malts and spicy earthy hops.
There's an initial sweet kiss on the tongue that gives way to some straw and grassy spicy hops. Mild bitterness, but that sweet flourish carries throughout at times giving impressions of fresh floral blossoms, rich fresh grass in late spring/early summer before it's gotten dry, nectar, and a final lingering honeycomb. Mild earthy bitterness dwells underneath it at the finish.
Lightly spritzy carbonation and a thin body on this one as it goes down incredibly easily.
I'm glad that I have started exploring some of these more 'classic' lighter styles this summer, as I've been enjoying getting to know them a little better and being able to truly appreciate what they are comprised of. It certainly helps to have quality options around, and I think this qualifies as that.
