Poured from 16oz can into a tulip. Package date 10/29/19.
Appearance: hazy, pale orange hue, with a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. It certainly looks the part.
Smell: light, citrusy aroma; kind of reminiscent of an Orange Julius. The aromas aren't super bright, but they're definitely enticing.
Taste: piney, orangey and earthy hops; bitterness is relatively high on this one for the style. It's not bad, but something about the pineyness just doesn't quite work super well for me. A decently-crafted beer, though.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: I like this beer, but it does lack a certain amount of attitude -- it should either be kicked up a notch, or a little more complex, or a little more sweet, or just ... something more.
