16oz can served in a nonic glass. Can is dated 07/10/20.
Look- Murky orange juice color, large off white head with great retention that slowly recedes to a thick foam cap, solid lacing. No carbonation streaming visible as it sits.
Smell- Big citrus (orange zest, grapefruit, lemon and lime), candied tropical fruits (pineapple, passion fruit and mango), berries and bubblegum, light peach, grainy malt, little grass and pine, some herbal/grassy notes.
Taste- Juicy citrus and tropical fruit, peach and berries, juicyfruit gum and grainy malt, light pine and some other herbal/grassy hop notes.
Feel- Medium bodied, soft and creamy, somewhat sweet and sticky up front with a lingering moderately bitter finish. Moderate/light carbonation on the tongue.
O- My first offering from Mirage and it's incredibly solid. This DIPA is a definite must try if you're a fan of the NE haze style.
