When Hoprodite isn’t enough, step up to its big sister, Hoprodisiac. She’s a DIPA dry-hopped with 6.2 pounds per barrel of Citra and Mosaic. Bursting with orange, grapefruit, pineapple and papaya flavors, this beer is bound to please the lovers of all things juicy.

16 oz. can dated 4/21/24

Murky gold, three fingers fine white head, full lacing curtains and surface cap. No floaties or sediment.
Strong fruit aromas: pineapple, mango, melon; and yeast.
Orange, pine, tropical fruits all present.
Full rich mouthfeel, good carbonation, light sweetness.
A very good hazy DIPA which avoids hop burn, chalkiness, or off flavors. Well done.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had pineapple and guava notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit blend presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

A: Pours a milky murky bright golden mango orangish yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate apricot + peach + bright orange + bright yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a handful of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at th edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to heavy aromas of juicy citrus/orange + tropical/mango + tropical/pineapple + tropical/papaya + citrus/orange peel hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of of juicy citrus/orange + tropical/mango + tropical/pineapple + tropical/papaya + citrus/orange peel hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which lingers for a short while leaving moderate lingering orange + tropical hop flavors.

M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly chewy upfront with light to moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a slightly heavier/chewier creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel but with just a touch of hop burn. Very enjoyable hop profile with orange + tropical hops.

Poured from a 16oz can into a shaker pint

Look: Hazy orange juice with a nice thick white head

Smell: Papaya, rotten pineapple, peach, and apricot. Big and fruity.

Taste: Like the nose. The attack is all papaya that last into the body with notes of bruised pineapple, mango, peach and a bit of honey.

Feel: Thick. This is one of the bigger mouthfeels I’ve had in a NEIPA. Medium bitterness but a fruity bitterness. Medium alcohol. Soft carbonation.

Overall: A tasty NEIPA. This body was pretty wild on this one and I liked the blend of hops. Worth checking out for sure.

Canned On: 02 12 21.

Appearance: Pours a clouded, murky-ish yellowed body with a smallish, stray, white head.

Smell: It's got that all-too familiar turbid nose of raw, rustic barley/wheat/oats with an added zip of cheeky alcohol. Orange rind and muskmelon with a peppery tropical backing of sorts.

Taste: A bit sweetish, bready with a firmly grainy backing and touch of candied toffee kernels. Embittereed orange peels, contemporary melon flavoring and a spiced tropical chutney. Medium bitterness. Some peppery, pointed alcohol notes. It has that full, cushiony quality throughout and through the warming finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: OK. Just OK.

Canned 10/28

Hazy orange, with lot of carbonation in the glass
Orange, peach, grass, apricot
Juicy citrus, slightly floral. Orange peel. Breast after taste
Medium body

Good but not much depth to it, though maybe that is to be expected with a hazy IPA

Appearance: Light orange, white fluffy head with moderate retention

Aroma: Citrus dominates, some pine. Alcohol not detectible. No malt.

Flavor/Aftertaste: Citrus and resin/pine. Restrained bitterness. Low malt sweetness.

Mouth-feel: Low astringency, drying. Moderate carbonation. Light bodied. Short finish.

Overall: Good quality Hazy Double IPA. Alcohol is well hidden. Light bodied and dry. Citrus aromas dominate with a bit of pine or resin. Hoppy taste. Bitterness is restrained. This is actually the 2nd batch I've had and it has improved a bit. First batch, about four or five months ago had some hop burn to it. This was much better.

Really good!! I would definitely get again given the opportunity. It’s a pure taste and a great feel. Really liked the smell as good, I got it in a variety pack and it delivered.

On tap at Taco Mac

Little dark in here but it looks excellent, hazy and thick. Just what you want from a NEIPA

Smell is mild with definite mango and hint of pineapple

Taste is more pronounced than smell, super juicy overwhelming mango, juicy fruit, pineapple (not sure I know what papaya taste likes, but probably this)

Mouthfeel is extremely drinkable for the abv. Not as creamy as some other super hazy IPAs, which I like.

Excellent hazy/juicy/NE/imperial IPA

Tastes and feels like a mango shake. Thought it might contain lactose!

Has just enough Abv and ibu to know it’s a beer.

Dangerously quaffable.
