A single hopped beer with Simcoe. The beer pours a slightly murky, copper color with a settling head which clings to the glass.

The smell is obviously very much Simcoe, a herbal, citric smell with an association of sweaty feed and garlic. Not off putting though. The malt add a nice nutty and slight malty smell, which is pushed aside by the hops.

The taste is not too bitter, the label mentions 70 EBU, but I would rate the beer at max 45 EBU. The Simcoe hop is ver distinct and offers a herbal, resinous taste, hard to describe the taste of the hop. At least there is a very American taste to the beer. The malt is in a supportive mode and only gives a light maltiness and some sweetness to balance the bitterness.
