This one turned out to be a nice surprise. I got a bomber bottle from a good friend. It pours a brown body with white head. In the beginning lots of fine foam, probablt due to some overcarbonation resulting from the brettanomyces being active munching through the body.
Aroma was typical Brett barnyard with an underlying bready and caramelly malt
Taste starts out very malt sweet, almost becoming cloyingly, but that is not the case because the funk cuts through it easily. Alcohol is not in the foreground
Medium to heavy body is liftedby smooth carbonation.
Very bold beer for this small brewery that came out really nice. It was a nice balance between the malty barleywine and the Brett, which means that it had a good age on it.
