I had the 2013 version and I was less than impressed, but a beer brother liked it very much last weekend at the Lentebok festival in Utrecht. Therefore, I decided to give this another try.
L orange, murky, disappearing head
A caramel malt, citrus and honey
T caramel malt and Pilsner malt at first and then a nice balancing bitter note, herbal hop flavor
F nothing special here. Medium to light body, biting carbonation
O This one improved a lot from last year. The malt body is complex and kept in check by a hefty bitterness and a fresh nose.

This beer used to be called Springbok, but changed names for some reason. Probably change in recipe.
An orange beer with a thin head and a lot of visible carbonation.
Smell is light malty and sweet, with straw notes and honey. I also pick up some cork like a Saison kind of cork.
Taste is light and has a sweet malty backbone. There is honey and biscuity notes. This beer is driven by malt. No real hoppy notes. Bitterness is low, especially for a meibok. Some metallic flavors.
An average meibok, which will do good at the average beer drinker.
