$13.50 NZD per 425ml draught pour @ Free House, Nelson, New Zealand.
Hopped with Eclipse and Mosaic. 6.8% ABV.
Tropical fruit, yogurty hop flavour, citrus pulp (orange, tangerine), juicy hops. A bit of hop burn on the back end.
Chewy, medium bodied, pulpy, juicy, smooth, thick.
Those into thicker pulpier turbid IPAs will dig it, but those who disdain overly juicy (i.e. "India Odwalla Ales") or those who hope Mosaic hops' signature subtle blueberry note will be well showcased will be let down.
No lime or pine from Eclipse hops. No blueberry from Mosaic hops. Just pulpy juicy yogurty hop flavours. Drinkable and likable, bit it doesn't showcase Mosaic well at all.
