We used 180lbs of orange blossom honey for our first ever braggot. You get tones of honey with a smooth mouthfeel from wheat malt.

A: Pours a relatively clear medium golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate peach + pale golden yellow + bright yellow + pale orange colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense foamy white head that reduces to a large patch of very slightly mottled thin film covering approximately 90% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of floral orange blossom + honeysuckle over the top of moderate aromas of wheat + pale + grainy malts with moderate to strong amount of honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of wheat + pale + grainy malts with moderate to strong amounts of honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of floral orange blossom + honeysuckle. Light to moderate flavors of some phenols and a touch of spicy Belgian yeast. Minimal amounts of bitterness and light to moderate lingering flavors of orange blossom + honeysuckle.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Hints of dryness and alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Drinks much easier than the 9% ABV would have suggested and the alcohol is well hidden. Lots of orange blossom and honeysuckle flavors + aromas from the honey but not overly sweet or cloying like some of the other braggots I have tried.
