Nice amber color with little to no head. It smells sour and leathery. The taste is a bit tart but not sweet. This is medium bodied beverage that goes well with okra or gumbo.

Beautiful clear red gold color with eggshell color cap and lacing.
Aroma of very sweet malt, and lots of it, along with caramel, toffee, with a hint of floral hops.
This thing is as rich as a caramel cake to which it bears more than a passing resemblance. Heavy sweet malt from beginning to end with a touch of floral hops. Fairly simple flavors well combined, the hops are in shadow yet not invisible, but there is a whalloping amount of malt and it's tasty.
Full texture with balancing carbonation.
Brewer calls this a Helles Doppelbock and it's a double for sure. 8% ABV is not noticeable at all until you get about halfway down the glass. Liquid candy for those who like fuller flavors.
