20 oz. can dated 8/20/2022. It pours a hazy, grassy yellow color with a full finger of foamy, bright white head and thick, soapy lacing. The smell is mostly tart citrus with crackery malt in the background. It has a strong, malty flavor complimented by tart lemon, lime, and grapefruit. It's brewed with the classic bill of Citra and Mosaic hops and as it warms I'm noticing sweeter notes of melon and peach, along with grassy, earthy, herbal notes. It really develops as it breathes and warms a bit in the glass. It has surprising depth of flavor. The mouth feel is full and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and it doesn't feel like 9.5% ABV. Overall, when I sawa 4-pack of tall boys at $12 I was dubious but this is rock solid DIPA.
