Thanks to the family for bringing this back from Brazil. Best before 4/24/18, reviewed early January
Pours a fair foamy bubbly 1/2 finger head that fades at a quicker pace, a fair lacing, fairly hazy grapefruit orange-yellow color
Nose brings more of an English pale, herbal grassy hops, a bit earthy, black tea, a bit spicy, and a bit fruity, some sweet candy like malts.
Taste brings more herbal grassy hops, fair bitterness, a bit earthy, mild tea but more fruitiness this time, almost berry fruity and a little tree fruit, some mild sweet malts, a little coppery toasted malt, touch caramel and touch biscuity. Drier finish, fair bitterness, hops get a bit more earthy and spicy.
Mouth is med bod, a touch syrupy, nice carb.
Overall not bad, although they call it an APA I think it's more of an English style based on the hops, but still pretty well done.
