Monday Night Brewing - The Garage

Visited on a recent trip to Atlanta. Not that easy to get to from downtown, but managed to figure it out. The atmosphere is great. Huge open space with a great selection. Lots of heavy dark stuff and some lighter IPAs and related things. Nice to go selection as well. Staff was nice. Would definitely visit again.

Attended a fund raiser held in their special events room. Tap room is roomy but limited seating. There is an outdoor patio and separate outdoor courtyard. Not a lot of shade though (a must for GA summers). Over 20 beers on tap. All good quality. Limited selection - one or two lagers/hybrids, remainder are ales. Usually some excellent barrel aged selections. Good service. Plenty of parking but located in a high crime area of Atlanta - despite several other breweries being close by. I'll come back for the beer, and I encourage a visit but be cautious traveling to and from the location after dark.

This is one of the few places that I have had the courage to visit during these frightening times. My wife and I visited to hang out with her brothers and their wives and their uncle.
It was worth it.
